All organisations that work with or come into contact with children and/or adults at risk should have safeguarding policies and procedures. These ensure that every child and/or adults at risk has a right to equal protection from harm.
Developing and following a good safeguarding policy and procedures means children and/or adults at risk are safe from other adults and other children who might pose a risk.

In this Developing a Safeguarding Policy module you will look at
- Duty of care - In this Developing a Safeguarding Policy module you will look at getting started on your policy, children, adults at risk, duty of care, spotting hazards and protecting welfare.
- Safeguarding policy and procedures - In this Developing a Safeguarding Policy module you will look at developing a policy and procedures, why they are important, understanding your own safeguarding policy and other policies to be aware of.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
