Caretakers are usually responsible for maintaining properties, and duties can include cleaning and repair work. Caretakers should have mechanical, organisational and interpersonal skills, with an ability to multitask and possess the physical capability to engage in manual labour. Other requirements may include looking after and operating machinery and ensuring that garbage is removed.

With such a wide remit, manual handling techniques are essential to avoid injury, and there is always the danger that you may come across hazardous substances and asbestos. Knowing how to deal with everyday risks such as these is essential in such an important role. Take advantage of our new and exciting conscientious caretaker package.
