Safeguarding Adults (Level 2) - Understand the different forms of abuse, signs and symptoms, susceptibility to abuse, the legislative framework, responding professionally to a disclosure, reporting incidents, concerns and more.

Safeguarding Children (Level 2) - Overview of legislation, signs and symptoms or abuse, behaviour indicators, family circumstances and risk, responding professionally to a disclosure, reporting abuse, maintaining confidential records, GDPR, information sharing and more.

Safeguarding Designated Lead Person - Legislation, role of the designated person, reporting requirements and processes, the role of external agencies, position of trust, safeguarding boards and more.

Safeguarding Policies and Procedures - Duty of care, confidentiality and information sharing, protecting and supporting staff, links to other policies, links to external agencies, key elements of a robust policy.

Do I need to do any extra work?

You will be required to compete a learner file which is available once logged in. This is an enabled PDF so you can type your answer in. You will upload this in your learning area along with your learner registration form. We will then mark your learner file and provide feedback. 

Once this is complete we will put a request in to Open College Network West Midlands for your formal certificate.

How do I get my formal certificate?

This will be posted out to you once we receive it from the awarding body. It is sent recorded delivery.
